About Thompson & Henry, P.A.

In 1973, South Carolina Grand Strand natives John C. Thompson and John P. Henry established Thompson & Henry, P.A., with the goal of building an elite team of attorneys who would be a source for solid counsel to area and national clients on complex legal issues.

Since then, Thompson & Henry has become one of Horry County’s oldest and most respected firms. The practice is well grounded in the Grand Strand business community. Providing a broad spectrum of experience and support generally only available at larger firms, Thompson & Henry’s attorneys follow an ethic of consistently applied attention to detail.

The Firm’s practice areas include business, real estate, governmental relations, and litigation in state and federal courts as well as before state and federal administrative agencies. Our extensive client base includes some of the state’s largest real estate developers, national insurance companies, county governments, banks, corporations, resorts, and golf courses.
